Camponotus maculatus subnudus is a fast-growing ant species with a monogynous colony type. The colony size can reach up to 10,000 workers. The queen has a size of 12-15mm, workers are 6-9mm, and majors are 11-13mm. The ants have an orange-brown color and feed on food insects, syrup, fruit, vegetables, and jelly.
