Cricket Jam is a steamed and mashed cricket protein food — all the nutritional value of whole crickets in a paste format that every worker in the colony can access, regardless of mandible size or body size. Workers do not need to tear or cut anything. Small workers, minor castes, and freshly-eclosed ants that cannot handle whole prey can feed from Cricket Jam directly. A 25 g jar provides multiple feeding sessions depending on colony size.

Paste vs Whole Crickets
Whole crickets provide complete protein but require workers to tear and carry pieces — less accessible to smaller workers and minor castes. Cricket Jam removes this barrier: the paste is immediately accessible to all workers simultaneously. For colonies with large size variation between castes (Pheidole, Messor, large Camponotus), Cricket Jam ensures that minor workers and younger workers receive protein alongside the larger majors. It is also more convenient for keepers who prefer not to handle whole insects.
How to Feed
Place a small amount on a feeding surface or in the arena. Remove after 24–48 hours and replace with fresh paste. Feed protein 2–3 times per week. Refrigerate after opening and use within the shelf life indicated on the packaging.
