Formicarium Marble L gives the finest staged control of any gypsum nest: five latches divide the large 20×20 cm nest into five sections. Start a colony of 5–15 in one fifth and open sections one by one as it grows — the colony is never given more space than it can manage. Four humidity chambers keep the climate stable throughout.
Complete control, first worker to last. Buy your Marble L gypsum formicarium from ANTonTOP.

Formicarium Marble L — five-stage expansion in a large gypsum nest
Marble L is the large-format control nest of the ANTonTOP gypsum line. Cast stone holds a deep, even humidity for big moisture-loving colonies, and five sliding latches divide the 20×20 cm nest into five sections — the finest-grained staged expansion of any gypsum formicarium. You introduce a small colony to one fifth of the nest and open the rest one section at a time, so the colony is never overwhelmed by empty space.

Why the Formicarium Marble L
Most large nests force a choice: start small in a separate setup, or risk a founding colony in a big empty space. Marble L removes that choice. Five latches let you run a whole colony’s life — from 5–15 founders to a mature nest — inside one formicarium, opening space exactly when the colony is ready for it.
Who can live in it
Marble L suits humidity-loving species and keepers who want full control of growth. It carries a colony from its first workers all the way to a large, mature nest without a single stressful relocation.
Beginner lifehack: match the space to the colony
Even in a large nest, keep the colony in as little space as possible early on. Marble L’s five sections make this effortless — open one section at a time and the nest always feels right-sized to the colony.
How the humidity system works
Fill the humidity chambers and the gypsum wicks moisture into the surrounding cells, holding an even gradient the colony can choose from. Top up the water every few days; the stone keeps the climate stable with none of the condensation swings of sealed acrylic.
Ventilation and mold prevention
Breathable gypsum plus light airflow keeps the nest fresh. Avoid over-watering, clear leftover food promptly, and leave a waterer empty for a day if a chamber gets too damp.
Escape protection
The fitted lid and arena walls keep workers contained. For tiny or climbing species, a thin band of anti-escape fluid around the arena rim adds extra security.
Assembly
Marble L arrives clean and ready. Rinse the gypsum, let it take up water, connect a tube if joining an outworld, and populate — no curing, no fuss.
Arena — sand, decorations, personalisation
Dress the integrated arena with sand, a stone or some moss to make a tidy foraging space and a display piece. Keep it light so feeding and cleaning stay easy.
Handy tools and feeding
Pair Marble L with a drinking dish, protein and carbohydrate jelly, and soft tweezers for clean feeding. A tube connection lets you add an arena or link nests as the colony grows.
Care and cleaning
Gypsum is sturdy and easy to wipe down. Spot-clean the arena, refresh the water, and don’t force the latches while the colony is active.
Delivery and support
Shipped year-round with heat or cool packs and a live-arrival guarantee — DHL across the EU, InPost in Poland, EMS worldwide. Questions on set-up or species fit? The ANTonTOP team keeps ants too and is glad to help.
Expansion — when and how to grow
Open the five latches in sequence as the colony fills each section. When the whole nest is in use, connect a second arena or a modular nest by tube to keep growing — at the colony’s pace, never yours.
Did you know?
Giving a colony just a little more space at a time mirrors how nests grow underground — ants excavate new chambers only as the population demands. Marble L’s five-stage system lets you manage that the way the colony itself would.

Zuzia (verified owner) –
Boże, ten formikarium to prawdziwy cud!
