Round Drinking Bowl — Large
22,90 zł
Round by design. The Large bowl offers a continuous drinking edge with no corners, so a busy colony fans out and more workers reach the water at once. It measures about 4 cm across, 3D-printed in ant-safe plastic, with a shallow walk-in floor that lets even the smallest workers sip and climb out dry. Holds water, sugar water, diluted honey or liquid jelly.
Add it to a thirsty arena and watch the queue at the water disappear.

Round Drinking Bowl Large — 3D-printed circular ant water and feed dish (⌀≈4 cm)
A round bowl earns its shape at the rim. The Round Drinking Bowl Large is about 4 cm across and 3D-printed, with one long unbroken drinking edge instead of four corners that bunch workers into a knot. A shallow walk-in floor sits below that edge, so even the smallest ants step down to the film of water and walk back out under their own power. It replaces the drowning risk of a deep cup and the mould of a wet cotton plug. Made in Europe and shipped from Poland with tracked EU, UK and worldwide delivery.

Why round works for a busy colony
A continuous edge has no pinch points. On a square dish, foragers crowd the corners; on the round bowl they fan out evenly around the whole rim, so a heavy-drinking colony gets to water faster. The textured base holds a thin film and the wall slopes the whole way round for grip.
Who it’s for
The Large (⌀≈4 cm) is the round dish for established colonies and roomier outworlds that get through real volume. For a founding colony in a test tube or a nano arena, the Round Drinking Bowl Small (⌀≈2 cm) keeps to a tighter footprint. If you would rather a dish that tucks flat into a corner, the square Drinking Bowl and Type 2 ranges do that instead.
How to use it
Stand it along an edge of the arena, clear of the nest entrance, so the colony’s floor stays dry. Fill with clean water day to day, or pour in sugar water, diluted honey or melted liquid jelly when you feed. Rinse and refill every couple of days. It lasts the life of the colony.
Pairs well with
Set a cup of Flavoured Ant Jelly alongside for carbohydrate and Blanched Whole Crickets or Cricket Jam for protein, and one corner becomes a full feeding station. The Round Drinking Bowl Small and the Type 2 dishes cover your smaller setups.
FAQ
Why round rather than the square Type 2 dish?
The round bowl gives a corner-free edge, so more workers reach water at once. The square Type 2 sits more tidily in a corner. Both keep the water shallow and safe.
Will the smallest workers drown?
No. The shallow floor and sloped wall let even tiny callow workers drink and climb back out.
Which size suits my colony?
Large (⌀≈4 cm) for established colonies and bigger arenas; the Small (⌀≈2 cm) round bowl for founding colonies and nano setups.
Can I feed liquid food in it?
Yes — sugar water, diluted honey and liquid jelly all work. Stand solid jelly cups beside it.
Why does the colour differ from the photo?
We print these in assorted colours and ship what is in stock. The shade varies; the performance does not.
Is the plastic ant-safe?
Yes, a durable ant-safe plastic. Give it a rinse before first use.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. Dispatched from Poland within 24 hours with tracked EU, UK and worldwide delivery.
