Description

Modular Arena 20×20 – clear acrylic foraging space for established colonies of 800–1300+ workers

The Modular Arena is the outworld half of the ANTonTOP modular system – a clear acrylic foraging and feeding space that connects to the nest so the colony has somewhere to hunt, carry food and explore outside its chambers. This 20×20 model is sized to pair with the 20×20 nests Matrix and Helix, giving established colonies of 800–1300+ workers a proportionate, escape-proof place to be active.

Why add an arena

Ants forage, feed and dispose of waste away from the brood. An arena gives them that separate space – keeping the nest itself clean and dry while letting you watch the colony at its most active, out in the open.

Connects to the modular system

Like every piece in the range, the arena links through standard lockable ports. Run a tube from the nest to the arena, add more modules as the colony grows, and build a custom setup without ever forcing a stressful full move.

Ventilation that keeps ants in

Laser-cut micro-perforation lets air move through the arena without giving the smallest workers a way out. Steady airflow keeps the space dry, discourages mould, and stops feeding leftovers from turning the arena humid.

Escape protection

Smooth acrylic walls and nut-and-screw entrance caps keep the colony where it belongs. Close the ports you are not using, connect a tube where you want access, and the arena stays secure – add a light barrier at the rim for the most determined climbers.

Decorate the arena

This is the part you get to design. A layer of sand, a few stones, cork bark or a cushion of moss turns the arena into a natural-looking landscape and gives the colony surfaces to explore. Make it yours.

Feeding and water

The arena is where the colony eats. Set down a drinker, a little protein and some sugar or ant jelly, and watch the foragers carry it home. Spot-clean leftovers so the space stays fresh.

Care and cleaning

Smooth acrylic wipes clean and stays clear for viewing. Remove old food, refresh the decor now and then, and the arena looks after itself.

Delivery and support

Shipped year-round with heat or cool packs and a live-arrival guarantee – DHL across the EU, InPost in Poland, EMS worldwide. Questions on pairing the right arena to your nest? The ANTonTOP team keeps ants too and is glad to help.

Did you know?

Large colonies forage in waves – a full-size arena lets dozens of workers be out at once, without the bottlenecks a small outworld would create.

Frequently asked questions

What does an arena do?
It is the foraging and feeding space outside the nest – where the colony hunts, eats and disposes of waste, which keeps the nest clean and dry.

Which nest does this arena fit?
It is sized for the 20×20 nests Matrix and Helix, and connects to any ANTonTOP modular nest through a standard tube.

How do I stop ants escaping?
Close unused ports with their nut-and-screw caps; smooth acrylic walls and micro-perforation venting do the rest.
