Acrylic Drinking Bowl — Small

For a few minute workers, a deep, straight-walled cap is a real hazard; one slip and a nanitic is lost. The shallow, sloped dish lets them reach the liquid and return on their own. The clear body shows how much is left at a glance, which counts double in a small dish that empties faster, and it wipes clean without holding stains or odours.

The Small is built for nano arenas, compact outworlds and founding colonies where space is tight and the workers are minute. It suits the full range of kept species at the founding stage, and works well as a second dish, one for water and one for liquid food, in a small setup. Step up to the Medium or Large as the colony grows.

Stand the bowl in a corner of the arena or outworld, away from the nest entrance. Fill with clean water for daily drinking, or use it for sugar water, diluted honey or liquid jelly at feeding time. Being small, it empties faster, so check and top it up more often and rinse regularly. No cotton is needed, though a tiny pebble suits the very smallest species.

It sits naturally alongside our jellies, honey and protein foods for a complete feeding station, and beside the Medium, Large and XL acrylic bowls as the colony grows. Stand it on a firm quartz-sand or decorative-stone floor so it stays level.

Rinse under running water between refills and clean more thoroughly when residue builds up. Avoid abrasive scourers that could scratch the clear surface. Let it dry or refill straight away. A basic rinse keeps it clear and hygienic long term.

Will small ants drown in it?
No. The shallow walk-in shape lets even the smallest nanitic workers step in, drink and climb out.

Can I use it for food as well as water?
Yes. Clean water, sugar water, diluted honey and liquid jelly all work.

What size is the Small bowl?
2.5 cm long, 1.8 cm high and 1.5 cm in diameter, the most compact size in the acrylic range.
