Modular Nest Quad – 20×10 cm acrylic nest with a square-grid layout
Quad is part of the ANTonTOP modular nest range – acrylic nest modules you connect into a setup that grows with the colony. It extends the structured square-grid layout of the 10×10 Quad across a wider footprint, giving a larger colony the same clearly-zoned rooms with more of them. It suits ~400–800 workers, and links to arenas or other modules through standard ports.

Why the Quad layout
More grid rooms mean a bigger colony can keep its zones organised – brood, food and quarters all stay separate as numbers climb.
Who can live in it
Quad suits ~400–800 workers across most popular species, with a 9 mm chamber height. Settle a colony in and let it spread through the square-grid chambers.
The modular system – connect and grow
Like every nest in the range, Quad is built to connect. Lockable nut-and-screw entrances accept tubes to arenas and other modules, so you can start with one nest and expand into a custom system as the colony grows – no stressful full moves.
How humidity works
Fill the sponge humidity chamber through the 3 mm syringe port once or twice a week. Water spreads passively without touching the nest chambers, holding an even, stable moisture the colony can settle into.
Setup and escape protection
Close the unused entrances with their nut-and-screw caps, connect a tube where you want access, fill the humidity chamber, and introduce the colony. The sealed acrylic and locked ports keep workers where they belong.
Care and cleaning
Smooth acrylic wipes down easily and stays clear for viewing. Spot-clean any connected arena, refresh the sponge water, and the nest looks after itself.
Expansion – when and how to grow
When the colony fills Quad, connect another module or a larger nest through the entrances. The modular system means the colony home grows exactly as fast as the colony does.
Delivery and support
Shipped year-round with heat or cool packs and a live-arrival guarantee – DHL across the EU, InPost in Poland, EMS worldwide. Questions on set-up or species fit? The ANTonTOP team keeps ants too and is glad to help.
Did you know?
As colonies grow they separate functions even more strictly – the wider Quad grid gives a larger colony the room to keep that order.
