Modular Nest Nebula – 10×10 cm acrylic nest with a branching-corridor layout

Nebula is part of the ANTonTOP modular nest range – acrylic nest modules you connect into a setup that grows with the colony. A wide central gallery splits into two symmetrical side corridors, giving the colony a natural, intuitive path structure that ants adopt quickly. It suits up to ~350 workers, and links to arenas or other modules through standard ports.

Why the Nebula layout

The branching corridors mirror how ants build foraging paths underground, so the colony settles in and spreads with no hesitation – and the symmetry makes for a clean, satisfying view.

Who can live in it

Nebula suits up to ~350 workers across most popular species, with a 9 mm chamber height. Settle a colony in and let it spread through the branching-corridor chambers.

The modular system – connect and grow

Like every nest in the range, Nebula is built to connect. Lockable nut-and-screw entrances accept tubes to arenas and other modules, so you can start with one nest and expand into a custom system as the colony grows – no stressful full moves.

How humidity works

Fill the sponge humidity chamber through the 3 mm syringe port once or twice a week. Water spreads passively without touching the nest chambers, holding an even, stable moisture the colony can settle into.

Setup and escape protection

Close the unused entrances with their nut-and-screw caps, connect a tube where you want access, fill the humidity chamber, and introduce the colony. The sealed acrylic and locked ports keep workers where they belong.

Care and cleaning

Smooth acrylic wipes down easily and stays clear for viewing. Spot-clean any connected arena, refresh the sponge water, and the nest looks after itself.

Expansion – when and how to grow

When the colony fills Nebula, connect another module or a larger nest through the entrances. The modular system means the colony home grows exactly as fast as the colony does.

Delivery and support

Shipped year-round with heat or cool packs and a live-arrival guarantee – DHL across the EU, InPost in Poland, EMS worldwide. Questions on set-up or species fit? The ANTonTOP team keeps ants too and is glad to help.

Did you know?

Ants navigate by laying scent trails along corridors – a branching layout like Nebula gives them clear main routes and side paths, exactly how trails form in the wild.
