The three pyramids of the Giza plateau – the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the pyramid of Khafre, and the smaller pyramid of Menkaure – were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom (around 2580–2510 BC) as tombs for the pharaohs. The Great Pyramid is the oldest and largest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one still standing. Originally clad in polished white limestone (long since stripped), it stood 147 m tall – the tallest man-made structure for 3,800 years.

Place in the open arena. It works in arenas of all sizes – even compact acrylic setups like the Ziom or Comfort, right up to large terrariums. Looks especially striking against contrasting substrate. Larger colonies often adopt it as a route or perch.
