The narrow, towering form anchors a New York or metropolis setup, but the height is more than show. Larger colonies often claim the model as a regular route or perch, and the stepped profile offers footing at several levels rather than one smooth wall. It pulls the eye and earns its floor space.

Stand it in the open arena where its height shows and not pressed against a wall. It works from compact acrylic setups like the Ziom or Comfort up to large terrariums, and suits arenas from roughly 20 × 20 cm upward. Being tall and slim, it wants a level patch of substrate to stand securely; pale sand below the darker resin makes it pop. Wipe with a damp cloth, rinse and air-dry if soiled, and keep it clear of harsh detergents and long sun.

The Empire State Building went up in just 410 days across 1930–1931, a 102-storey, 381 m tower. It held the title of world’s tallest until 1970, when the North Tower of the World Trade Center passed it. The mast on top was meant for airships but only ever served one, since wind made docking impossible.
