The modular 20×10 nest and arena
A 20 × 10 cm modular nest with 9 mm chambers, six lockable nut-and-screw entrances, two humidification chambers and an internal latch, paired with a matching 20 × 10 arena. Sized for a growing colony of 400 to 800 workers, and because it’s modular it connects to every other ANTonTOP nest and arena with standard tubing. Made in Poland.
Sand, decorations and tools
Two bags of quartz sand, decorative stones, three decorations, a feeder with starter jelly food, and a screwdriver for the entrance locks. Everything is included to set the scene and run the colony day to day, so there’s nothing else to buy to get going once you add your ants.
Setting it up
Assemble the formicarium, moisten the humidification chambers, connect the nest to the arena, and lay a thin bed of the included sand across the arena floor with a few decorations. Connect the arena to the nest where applicable, then it’s ready for a colony. When you introduce your queen or colony, keep the setup warm and quiet and let them settle in their own time.
