At about 3 × 3 cm it holds a useful amount of water between refills without taking over a standard arena, and the flat-sided body settles into a corner instead of rolling like a round bowl. Why the walk-in shape matters
A straight-walled container drowns small foragers; this one does not. The base is shallow and the wall slopes, so ants walk down to the liquid and back out with no deep edge in the way. The plastic is light and durable, easy to lift, rinse and refill day after day.
