The Arena Terrarium M is the mid-size sealed acrylic outworld for species that escape ordinary arenas. At 15×10×10 cm it suits small-to-medium colonies, working on its own as a complete enclosure or as the outworld in a modular setup. Why escape-proof matters
This is the mid-size answer for ants that get out of everything else. Airtight acrylic and snug tubing ports hold Pharaoh ants, Solenopsis and other tiny, escape-prone species — the ones that find the seam in an ordinary arena and walk straight out. The laser-cut micro-perforation lets air flow through while the enclosure stays sealed to the colony, so the inside stays fresh and dry and mould stays off any leftover food. If you do not want ants loose in the house, a fully sealed outworld removes the risk.
Who it’s for
The M fits a small-to-medium colony that needs more than a starter arena but not yet the floor space of an L. Run a tube to a nest or formicarium and it slots into a modular build: the 8 mm and 10 mm ports match most of the ANTonTOP range, so you grow the colony’s living space step by step without a stressful full move.
Setup and escape protection
There is room here for a small landscape and a feeding station in one: a layer of sand or substrate, a few stones, cork bark or a cushion of moss. Set a drinker and a little protein and sugar or ant jelly inside, and the colony forages as it would outdoors. The smooth acrylic wipes clean and stays clear; spot-clean leftovers and refresh the substrate to keep things mould-free. The sealed body and snug ports hold even tiny workers in.
Pairs well with
A modular nest or formicarium through the 8 mm or 10 mm port, a drinker and ant jelly for feeding, and quartz sand, stones or moss to dress the outworld. As the colony grows, the larger L and XL terrariums carry the same sealed design.
