The Arena Terrarium S is the compact sealed acrylic outworld for tiny species and small starter setups. At 8×5×4 cm it works on its own as a complete enclosure or as the outworld in a modular setup. Made in Poland and shipped year-round with heat or cool packs and a live-arrival guarantee.

Why escape-proof matters
For a young colony or a delicate species, a sealed enclosure is the surest way to keep every worker where it belongs. Airtight acrylic and snug tubing ports hold Pharaoh ants, Solenopsis and other tiny, escape-prone species, the ones that find the seam in an ordinary arena and walk straight out. The laser-cut micro-perforation lets air flow through while the enclosure stays sealed to the colony, so the inside stays fresh and dry and mould stays off any leftover food.
Who it’s for
The S is the starter size, sitting beside a test-tube setup or a small formicarium today and linking into a bigger outworld as the colony grows. The 8 mm and 10 mm ports match most of the ANTonTOP range, so expanding never means a stressful full move.
Setup and escape protection
Even at this size there is room for a thin layer of sand, a small stone or a pinch of moss to make the space feel natural. Set a small drinker and a little protein and sugar or ant jelly inside, and the colony forages as it would outdoors. The smooth acrylic wipes clean and stays clear; spot-clean leftovers and refresh the substrate to keep things mould-free. The sealed body and snug ports hold even the smallest workers in.
Pairs well with
A test-tube setup or small modular nest through the 8 mm or 10 mm port, a small drinker and ant jelly for feeding, and a little sand or moss to decorate. When the colony outgrows it, the M, L and XL terrariums carry the same sealed design through every stage.
